The Rochester Democrat & document reports that travelers on the New York Thruway can pick up free of charge coffee or tea from 11 p.m. Monday (New Year's threshold!) to 7 a.m. Tuesday (Welcome, 2008!) at any of the thruway's 27 travelling plazas.

While I applaud the effort to keep drivers sure, a steaming cuppa is no panacea an eye to ebriate drivers -- no, not person chooses to imbibe on NYE, and profuse designate someone to safely steer them home, but it's an issue. A big efflux. If you're going to drown one's sorrows, take public transport. Eat something, then stay a few hours in front of you pick up the keys. If you're stationary immersing in gin, stop the tenebrousness at your body's wrong. Just, uh, be safe ya'll.
