Song of the moment: Watch Me Go (Kissed Me, Killed Me) The Dollyrots

Today was the day that everyone I actually care about was officially moved back. Huzzah. It made for a night of relaxing merriment.

Grix called me in the early evening, asking if I wanted to go for a walk, as she was dropping her car off at my place. I responded that I was probably going to go to the dorms to visit young master Stauffer soon, so we meandered that direction. He was debating the arrangement of his room. Much as I love rearranging furniture, it makes it difficult when A) you live in a glorified closet (AKA a dorm room) and B) you refuse to move your desk from its current position. So, I proved to be much less help than usual.

Hung with Stauff, Grix, and Tagg (who just showed up after a bit), drinking a little and talking. Grix was a special level of retarded. Go Grix. Stauff was nervous about Tagg and I being in the same room together, since putting us in the same room at the end of last semester was awkward and uncomfortable for everyone involved. However, time has passed, life has gone on, and both of us are fine around each other again. You could see him visibly relax once he realized that. Don’t worry, boyo, I did the same thing last night. It’s easier for people in the same amoebic friend circle to be able to be civil when in the company of one another. Easier still if they can manage to be friendly.

Stauff, Grix, and I went to Sean’s, where we were joined by Chrissy and Emily. We played some Chrononauts, then went back to Stauff’s room, picking up the younger Walsh and Stauffer, to watch The Guild.

And this is where the awesome happened. I had not seen the preview for the third season of The Guild. I only knew that there was supposed to be a rival guild as the antagonists. So, at the end of the first episode of the third season (the only episode currently out), we see the rival guild for the first time. The rival guild, led by fucking Wil Wheaton. I may or may not have geeked out hardcore and demanded we watch it again. Okay, it was definitely a may. It made me ridiculously happy. Also, he was in a kilt. Awesome.

And now I’m sitting in Sean’s living room, watching him play LittleBigPlanet. Which, I’m sorry, is a dumb fucking game. But it’s a stupid, pointless game full of cute. So full of cute. Cute music, cute animations, and super adorable sack people. Also, it’s narrated by Stephen Fry, so… that rocks.

Bonus link of the day: For all my fellow Wash fans. We miss you, Alan Tudyk. Well, hell, to be frank, we miss all of you, darling Firefly cast. Fuck you, Fox. I will never, ever forgive you for that. Ever.
